Roll Eyeswell unless thats a barn find, ha, ha, i doubt thats anywhere near 2000 years old, sorry to be sceptical but wouldnt you think the hinges would of rusted through by now?the door on my car is 5 years old and one of those is iffy. looks as though its a dicarded prop from a old film, still cool though.

Hi guys , just posting for some people that like Roman stuff , since the SS has a lot of similarities with them .
This helmet was dug up by a friend of mine.
But I am not getting into a yes or no about the helmet . It could be fake , yes .
But then it was burried there by a Czech farmer .( no , it was not found in Czechia , just compiling the replys)
Big Grin
It was found somewhere in Europe , near my country.
I hope that you all liked it.

Would be interested on more details on where it was found.

Incredible condition for its age... found in clay I assume. I have to admit that the size is somewhat surprising when one considers how much smaller we used to be 1900 years ago. Is that an Imperial Gallic?

Congratulations!
