Long Story about Kalle Teel - But I will try and be brief. This information is what his son Karl told me.
Kalle was born in Estonia and lived in a German Settlement there. When he was very young, the Russians took over his town and drove out the Germans. They put a bunch of the townspeople on Horse Carts and while the were riding away, the Russians used Machine Guns on them and Kalle was one of only a few to live that were on the Cart.
He then went to Berlin to live with Family & was called to duty when he was around 16 years old at the very end of the war. He went through some training and when they were sent into battle, he fled the city & stayed underground with the Lutheran Church ( he had relatives there as well ) until the war was over.
Later he immigrated to America and joined the US Army - serving in the Korean war and seeing action in the infantry. ( I can find out what unit if you like ). He eventually became an Engineer and worked for Bendix Corporation in Maryland.
His son said the he was obsessed with collecting and spent all of his spare time collecting militaria and other things. I met his son about a year after his father died and got to see his house and all the things in it.
Kalle had some 60,000 Books in the house, Loads of Guns ( Machine Guns, etc... ), Militaria of every kind ( Field gear - Daggers ), German Camera's, on and on and on...
When I first got to see the stuff, there was hardly enough room to move in the house with all the Books and things. I was able to get most of the Militaria, but there were lots of stuff that his son sold on eBay and some that his Sister kept ( Including some very rare SA & SS leader daggers ).
Thank my friend
Fantastisk utstilling min venn
Hæææ, var ikke klar over at du var norsk.

Very nice display Carlos. Being a medal guy from what I can tell from the photo your Blutorden may not be original. Do you have a close up of it?
You are right there Erich, the bluthorden is a repo.
Since i am a dagger guy,i alowed my self to put in repo displat things.
Can u find more repo??
Congratulations Carlos.
Your collection is really starting to become most respectfull, and I know you will find other great blades to add in the future.

Nice.
Why spend a ****load of money on display-items that are way out of the collecting area, when tou can buy cheap spacefillers instead, and save the real bucks for the real items - blades.
There's nothing wrong with having fillers in you collection that are not meant to fool. Very nice presentation Carlos!
You are right on that Trond
Erich.
I agree in that, repro`s are ok for display and not to fool peoplr in sale.
Thanks for the nice words, after the weekend i am going to a company here i live.I have an idea to make a display item(if it dont cost to mutch to make
)
Carlos that Helbig gravity is rare!!
Carlos, possible to see photos from the black Off. visor, it looks like a Gen. to me?
Carlos,
I don’t intend any disparaging words regarding your very nice collection and display and I agree with Robert that the Allgemeine SS officer’s hat appears to be a general. However, I might think that the insignia looks a bit suspicious and I might suggest that this hat might again be another decorator to embellish the display. I would also like to see a closer and interior view.
I might also make the same observance concerning the mint looking helmet which appears to be copy of a mint ‘pea green’ army.
Carlos, my congratulations on your very fine collection and display.
John
Thanks for nice words gent`s.
Paul:Yes the Helbig is rare,i wonted only 1 gravity,so i got a rare one
Robert/John:The visor is a repo,for display.
The helmet is a original helmet, but repainted to "Normandy"camo.
thanks for the update.
A very nice dagger collection!
Funny the BO, the right hand statue looks like an Astronaut.
It realy looks like an Astronaut
Very nice dagger collection Carlos!!
