1939 Eickhorn Matching numbers 2076g. The frog is a e o gotze & sohn getsdorf 1939
Unused swazs straight from a vets estate. The whole thing is about the same size as a normal flag.
Made out of cast iron with no makers mark.
Got it off the son of the vet. One of my favorite pieces. Made by hand. Came with a army officers car pennant and some ss cloth. I should have kept the car pennant also.
1940 matching wkc numbered 9149i.
Kreigsmarine flag. The other kreigsmarine flags I will up load later.
One of the wwi fighting knives I have.
Boxed army officers belt and buckle
Dead mint water police belt buckle with tongue.
Unused HJ Buckle
All named to one solider. He was anti tank. It was a shame since the auctioneer broke the grouping apart. I had to buy everything individual. I hate it when they do that.
Not numbered.
Not sure if this was pre wwii or post wwii. Blade is a emil voos. Nice little fighting knife.
Another wwi fighting knife. This time with scabbard.
Double sided. Once I heard this was up for sale. I had to have it. Had to beat out phone bidders from iowa, illinois, colorado and other places in the country. Came out of a estate from a member of the 9th inf. He was a part of the AAA-0. It was a shame that this was the only piece of ss he had.
I bought this butcher because of the frog. Nice snap action in the lug area. Blade is a henckels on one side and on the other the stamping is faint on the left side but it is marked ges vorm rossmarr berlin.
Not sure what it is exactly I was thinking letter opener. But it is over 18 inches in length.
44 fnj matching numbers 3955 m
Belonged to a friend of mine. Was in the 29th. Landed a few days after d day. Was in the hedgerows. Attached to the rangers. Made it all the way to the hurtgen forest then he was wounded and captured by the germans. Went to dachau. Went to the nuremberg for a day. I see him every week. Too bad I didnt get his 36ss chain dagger that was named. I was a dollar short for that one.
39 Horster matching numbers 9290j
Thanks for taking time to show all or part of you're collection. The buckles are very nice. That water police must be pricy. Although I do like the look of the used dirty herr buckles. Also that SS flag... See you on Rt 76! Ian.
I am by no means anywhere near complete showing everything. That was a half a draw of stuff that is laying around. I didnt get to the swords, medals and daggers yet. I have about another 20 k98s yet.
Like this one.
Came with that veterans flag pole. I would have sold it but, since it has the original price tag I decided it was going into the drawer. To never see light again.
2 more last ditch bayonets. These two are numbered.
More k98s. I wont photo all the ones I have.
A RAD book
A few side arms
WWI bayonets
The WWI flag is bigger than my truck.
I love this piece. Came with other german stuff but nothing else this great. The vet was in the 69th.
That is enough for now. I got into the second draw of stuff. Next pics will be of belts and buckles, photos, insignia and medals.
Great stuff mananero just the way I like to collect; any and every thang that comes down the pike just so long as it has that been there done that feel, helps if you get it for a song too! Am I right or am I right! Really FUN to be a collector this way!
John
You are right. Still have a lot after this round of pics.
The buckle came from a estate sale. The story behind it is that the vet had a lot of stuff. The one relative was stealing everything and selling it off for nothing. The relative missed this piece since it was in a overseas cap. Marked org todt on the back in a circle.
Last of my buckles.
Boxed WWI EK1
Large Hitler medal
Boxed WWI Ek2
Blue boxed WWII EK1
Never understood the reason it was blue.
Police medals. I always see these and never the 8 year boxed. Go figure.
War merits
WWI Ek1
Boxed war merits with swords one with outer carton
Some interesting books.
Vintage books
Cabinet cards
Last pic for this round. The ring has a medallion of the frozen meat on it. Really detail with the eyes, feathers and beak area. But my camera sucks with close ups.
More, More! Does your camera have a MICRO setting? Try That.
It has it but the pixel rating is so low. I would spend money on a better camera but that leaves less money for more stuff. Ill take more pics when I get home from running at the sale.
M.,
Lots of beautiful things you've posted for us to look at - most in primo condition, some very rare, and all quite interesting.
Many thanks!
Bill Warda
Thanks but I am only about half way though with the next round of pics. I am more ashamed of the lesser quality things I have around. Like mismatched k98 that are clean and the like. Hope you guys enjoy this next round of pics. Remember I didnt even get to the daggers yet.
This is the only statue I found outside of dealers. Actually the second but I cant show pics of that since it will be in a book.
The rest of them
WWI items and italian stuff.
Sent though the mail like this. The gi says this is for a marine in the german army for 25 mission at sea. I like it.
Pennants. I had a sa pennant once but I traded that for a kreisleiter uniform, pants and visor. I also had to throw in a double proof ss eickhorn dagger that was ok in condition. I ended up getting rid of that uniform.
Some more medals and insignia I just picked up.
Some swords on the wall. The one with the eagle pommel is a collins. Really dont like american edge weapons but that pommel did it for me.
Here is the pics. With the home protector.
Two army daggers. The one with the dark scabbard with the aluminum crossguard and aluminum pommel came from a vet. The tip of the blade is broken off. I bought it for parts. Damn scabbards and handles are expensive. The other army is a no maker.
Ehrhardt grouping as it was found with the note dads fraternal hats and badge.
I liked this when I first seen it. WWI piece. Almost as long as a yard long. Nice colors and it makes a point.
More swords
landing book in german for the headquarters trying to study how the allies do there naval landings. I will start to upload all the other side arms and daggers. There is a few other items. But after that I am done with show n tell.
Wow, I wish I had things like these just "laying around", hahaha. How long have you been collecting? Great stuff, and keep on posting!
T.
I been collecting since I was 18. 14 years later I think I am going to quit for a while and chase after some other things. Ill take photos of the other 40 some daggers and 20 some edge weapons late. Maybe sunday when I have nothing to do.
sa dagger
Nskk
2 army daggers
One take down gravity and the other is a cheaper broken filler. Nsfk dagger
SS chain
2 tagged SS
Never out of the bag kreigsmarine
Some HJs
2nd luft
Newer WKC sword that came along the way.
Ill get the rest of the edge weapons up later.
Later??? theres more?? Do you have any furniture in our house, or maybe there is no room for it!! Nice collection.. Best Larry "just inside Philly"
Ill get the other pics up maybe friday. Between work, school and buying I dont have time. I have the 30 some other daggers to take pics of and the other stuff I just bought. I have a really nice 99 inf grouping but I cant show a lot of it since some of the pics in the album are being used for upcoming books. I need more time in the day.
Some new toys I picked up over the weekend. Soon it is time to go on spring break. The buckle has no markings on it.
Few more pics. Monday is coming means more mail is coming my way.
Great stuff. I love it.
Steve
Outstanding collection Sir, especially like the Gold Party Badge with military style pin attachment.
Glad somebody at least is finding some fresh stuff! Now you have to start looking up every soldier that signed that flag and start asking if they brought home anything!
Next photos is a little grouping I got my hands on. I wish I had the guys name. Came with the 2nd lufty.
This is what I found today with a grouping of a chaplain of the 29th inf. He was at dday.
Latest finds. Its been dry
I cannot say one thing - my mouth doesn`t close anymore
great stuff - I hope you have a biiiig house
cheers
helmut
It is a small size 60x90 Because this is a Delta International fake from the late 1960's,early 1970's JUNK
Did some buying lately but didnt have time to take photos. Since I moved and all.
Came from the same vet and luft soldier as the minty luft sword I had listed earlier. Condition on both is great.
Without a doubt you could start your own museum. And it would be worth visiting it for sure!
Thanks for showing us your impressive collection.
Regards, Danny
GREAT stuff here! Love lookin. Could we see some more pics of the RAD Hewer posted on Nov. 29?? What a nice looking grip!! THANKS! Kevin.
Here's the pics you wanted
M,
Yes, definitely lots of good, diverse, interesting things to look at.
Thanks for always taking the time to share the fruits of your labor with us, much appreciated!

Mananaro that troddle just makes that piece!! Beauty
I loved it as soon as I looked at the pics for the estate sale. I almost missed work for it. I can always make money from work. But when will I find another nice rbd bayonet like that again.
I always thought marked bayonets are undervalued. You do not see them that often.
I have a have more things to put up for pics and then I am out of stuff until I buy again.
That is a really nice bayonet!
Belong to a soldier that was a engineer. Interesting they are using a flame thrower against a knocked out german tank.
I really dont like buying jap stuff. Not appealing in my eyes. But I am getting a soft spot for stuff that is signed by the guys. Marked to the 97th inf.
Got this one yesterday. Extremely minty. This is how it was found in the estate with the ekii attacked to the top. The spange is not marked and the ekii is a 4. Looks like it was never used.
man that's nice, great find!
Bill

Gorgeous!
Love your Standschutzen patches. I tried to PM you - Private Mailbox is disabled. I then tried to email you - the email address doesn't work.
If you ever decide to sell them, let me know please...
I forgot to put the new email account in. Now it should work.
havent bought anything lately.
Hello. TITO was a nickname of former Yugoslavian president and dictator JOSIP BROZ TITO. He led a communist partisan movement in Yugoslavia during ww2 and was very popular at the time. Patch you have is a late war theater made insignia from some local partisan fighter from Croatian or Bosnian part of the country because of Latin letters in use. The patch DEFINITELY ISN'T A STANDARD YUGOSLAV ARMY PATCH and it could be it was worn either by political commissar or common soldier. Although it is a very nice and rare thing to find even in former Yugoslavia.
I hope I was of any help.
omg--OMG!!!!! When did you start collecting---1939?????? GREAT JOB-Thanks for sharing.
Thanks
Some of the items went to auction in the Midwest. Some of it went for sale on ebay. Some is slated for sale in another auction in sept oct. And I kept some stuff. All the daggers, guns, flags, groupings and some of the medals are being sold. I kept some of the medals, post cards and belt buckles. Daggers and bayonets are too heavy to carry around the country. As I was moving from state to state working in different casinos.
Digging the armbands! Do you have any story on the gray armband or the medic with the writing around the cross?
The gray armband was in a album from a member of roosevelts ss the 30th inf div. I sold that album on ebay years ago. The vet was a famous guy in the lehigh valley (allentown, pa) for doing children tv back in the 50s. I dont remember his name. I kept the nazi stuff that was in that album. I kept the captured papers with the armbands. The red cross came from a member of the 99th which I got his photo album which some of it I pictured in this thread. He was the cartographer for the div hq. Both armbands will be sold in sept oct.
Thanks for all the emails. But all the daggers, flags, insignia and other large items are being sold in sept oct in maine. I moved from pa to baton rouge then to mo and back to pa. All in a period of 6 months. Moving 30 plus banana boxes of wwii items was too much to bear. I sized everything down to 4 banana boxes of stuff. One day I will post what I have left. So if there is anything you want check out poulins auction is the one that is selling the stuff in the fall. Everything will have no reserves and if you want the history on how I got it ill tell ya.
Thanks for this information!
Looking forward to this auction. Shame that you had to sell it all though....
Im rebuilding it. Not buying any edge weapons. Been spending money on buckles, insignia and medals like a drunken sailor. Edge weapons take up too much room and are too heavy to carry around. Im planning on moving at least 2 more times. But I can see many many more moves.
http://poulinantiques.auctionflex.com/sh...m=1&lang=EnThis is their catalog.
Soooo many guns lol. Taking me forever to find the armbands lol. Are any of the guns yours?
Well it is today I think. Can't wait to see if I can get a stab at the armbands...
Well someone still got a good idea but just didn't have enough for it at the time. Shame because they went cheap and some nice ones there!
Nice stuff to have lying around that's a mega collection ! timothy
