I'd say fake. 3 solder points in verticle line and u hooks at different angles.
hi barry g
just my opinion i feel same fake s/a no doubt in my mind best andy militarynut
I like the toning, and the solder points are common for this imperial buckle, looks like a worn buckle that compares well to my stalheim buckle of the same period. Good imo
hi stuka
you have a right to your opinion im sorry i dont agree i will stick to my opinon this is why and what i see first off this type ww1 gott mitt uns belt buckle for over 95 years old it still looks newly made please take a look at the shetted tin keeper that looks 90 years old hell no the toneing you say hell no all brass tones after some time even the solder drips new no age common well guys this is my opinion and im not going to change no matter what you see is what you get with my opinion god bless have a great day andy militarynut
I agree with you Andy. 3 vertical solder marks and the points and overall finish tell the story.
hi barry
also look under the uns the butchers burned a hole soldering from the back to the front and besides the so called silver front of the badge is outher cheap metal round we have to be carefull when buying i see this all the time this is why i say what i feel if any one doesnt care for my opinions after over fifty years in this great hobby but bottom line i cant stand liers or thieves hope you all agree god bless andy militarynut
hi all ,
would it be possible to show detailled pictures of a true buckle ? So , comparison would be much easier than sentenses .Especially for a new collector as I am . Thanks in advance .
