Well at least the family has some kind of closure.. There are many still out there waiting to be found....

Just saw a show on the missing US flight 19 by Florida,,,a whole squad, missing ! and,,, the search and rescue plane [?] also went missing! , So yeah at least this has some closure ...., thanks Dave.

OH,, I thought one of these new shows had found something on her. A sole of a boot, part of the plane[?]..

The week of the 27th we are going to the Bermuda Triangle to watch some underwater 'mapping' for that lost flight. Its there somewhere... Nothing wrong with that spot except some very bad weather occasionally and missing landmarks when the water is high..

Wasn't there a theory several years ago that Flight 19 turned back, overflew Florida and ran out of fuel over the Gulf of Mexico?

well a few things with 19.
- They were in terrible weather.. It was found out the whole day and night before was some kind of gigantic party and there was a lot of drinking going on.. Their instruments for whatever reason were not functioning. . They were running on fumes..

We got very lucky to go on a cruse ship from NY down there where they are mapping the ocean bottom looking for the wreckage. They have a big spread that covers the Gulf also... anything interesting I'll report or photos etc.

Pretty much. A new crew, first mission, and a sandstorm. They overflew the air base and crashed in the desert.
