No idea. Can you please be more specific on exactly what you don't like?

Two things that jump out are the thickness of the crossguard and leather buffer pad. As well as the details on the scabbard eagle. Compared to a period HJ Leader, there are more.

Hello Billy G, I do know this fake since years. Beside the outer form there is no detail equal to an original HJleader dagger and the scabbard is even more a phantasy product.

These were considered bad many years ago and still are.

Well known old fake, including the case

Wotan hit the nail on the head, but want Dave to know I didn't miss his request just a little late. As I remember, these first appeared in the late 1970s.
