Collectors

A while back a collector passed and wife sold some things!

This collector kept records and such for his items!

This Hj knive was among the items!

Collector myth! Or should I say dealer myth on selling them!

Here is a pic!

Hello pvon, these knives were first offered many years ago by a german dealer whose items, especially engraved, etched and high end items, let´s say, mostly are avoided by serious, experienced and honest collectors. There is an intersting thread over thee at WAF about those knives. If I remember right in the thread there was prooved that these knives are postwar products.

The aluminium hilt and the white stag grips are an easy proof that these were not made back in 1935.

Offered by the dozens on shows about a decade ago, now popping up in collections all over the world...

Best regards,

Herman

I almost bought one when I was new and learning, very happy I didn’t plunk hard-earned money down on one!
