Dear all,

Did the firm of F. Plucker also made HJ knives? And if so, can somebody post a nice close-up from the maker mark on such an HJ Knife? I'm working on part II of my article about dagger tags and Plucker is one of those firms were dagger-tags survived the time.

Regards, Wim

Many tags turn up for sale on the internet. A plucker tag sold in the last month.. (not on a dagger but on tableware item..)
Many tag collectors use these tags as original tags on edged weapons.. Again, Many tag collectors buy there tags this way...
Most are not period tags 30s 40s ... The way to document this is by period documents... Pictures etc.... Not by matching trademarks styles.
Be very careful with what you write... As collecting tags is one thing.. Collecting tags that were used on period German swords and daggers is another..
