Hello
I would like to have your opinion on the rest of the marking of this knife.
for me it is rzm7/85.
the photos are taken with a magnifying glass.
Note the default in the rzm.
If you have the same marking compared his will be fine. d advance thank you for your help.

Hello Blondin,

Would be helpful to identify if you also post some pictures of the complete knife and blade.

But I am 95% sure that you have a 1939 Gustav C. Spitzer HJ (see pic hereunder)

Best regards,

Herman

Hello, thanks for your help.
Did you send the photos tomorrow.
The knife is in bad condition.
I think I see a difference at the level of the date 9 l rounded to a sort of homecoming.
L rounded seems bigger than 0, does have perhaps only an impression.
Anyway thanks for your help.
The suite tomorrow.
Good night.
Kind regards.

Maybe a 5.
I am sure now that you have a Spitzer 1939 HJ knife, it all confirms:

- shape of blade & ricasso,
- alloy hilt
- steel rivets

There are no other RZM marks starting with a "8" that look the same.

The RZM M7-85 (Arthur Evertz)mark is very different (see pic hereunder)

Best regards,

Herman
