Nice going, Dippy!
Don't know a thing about these, but this setup sure looks pretty.

Hi Paul, is an original knife Falange Youth of the period of the Spanish Civil War, is a good example, I really, like these knives all had marked on his ricaso "SEAM 1936/8," the brand SEAM means: Sociedad Espaņola de Armas y Municiones,(Spanish Society weapons and Ammunition).
I don't know about originality, but I think it's a Franco youth knife made in Spain, seam 1936/8. Copied from the Hitler youth knife, except of course for insignia. Didn't these come with the bowie style blade as well?
The design on the scabbard snap looks like some I have seen on German pieces.........
Hi all thanks to Paul for posting this knife .It is an extremely rare spanish falange youth knife ,with what appears to be black combat period paint.THe scabbard is the same as some hj knives I have encountered and has a distinctive button. What makes this knife a real peach is the matching period belt and buckle which is marked casa amilibia deusto.I have seen a few of these on the net but never imagined I would own a complete set.

Nice! Can you show a picture of how the reverse buckle attaches to the belt?
