Gentlemen, I show you two of the original daggers Herster HY Leader in comparison. Daggers have minor differences probably due to different periods of production and construction wood grip. I would hope that more experienced colleagues in more detail will comments. For better understanding I will call them the number 1 and number 2.

Daggers have a slight discrepancy in total and part of dagger length.

The top #1, below #2.

Grip from number 2, longer than the number 1. But the winding wire less, the number 1 is more dense. Number 1 Fixing pommel of cloves, and the number 2 with screw. Pommel on dagger number 1 is sitting on a tighter grip than the number 2 (number 2 on the large difference place between the grip and pommel).

left #1 right #2

Blades are also different in length, the number 1 the longer . Externally, number 2 blade did not cut or sharpened. The length of the blade disassembled can not tell because the items are not fully analyzed.

Even a small difference but I think it is not fundamental, the edges on the blades are different in the number 2 are parallel to the base, and the number 1 is the restriction of the right guard. the RZM mark and motto is identical. (I think in both daggers use one of patterns for etching).
