Many early HJ's had thin, no ricasso blades with often beautiful, non RZM, makers marks.
All of these early knifes beared the motto and are very sought after by collectors.
Let's learn about the many variations that exist!
Show your thin, no ricasso HJ's!

Stingray, thank you for your kind words. I already have thought nobody here would registrate it

wotan:
That TM is neat. I wonder how many were made with this mark and for how little time it was used. I think the answer will be that it was used for only weeks or a few months.
John
JohnZ I am no specialized HJknife collector but as stated, I nowhere (in real or in the net) have seen this certain trademark on a HJknife. I am also wondering because the knife has recognizable large checkering of the grip plates compared especially to other early manufacturers which had extremely fine checkering at these early times. BTW this PACK has also an early "anodized" (blued) scabbard.
Do you know more about it, have you ever seen this certain mark before?
Regards,
Wotan:
I, too, am not a specialized HJ collector. I am more of an Eickhorn TM collector and have several Eickhorn marked HJs, including an early single oval... which probably corresponds to this early Pack, except that the Pack seems much more rare. I have seen a couple of examples of the early Eickhorn, but never seen this Pack TM.
I have seen several Pack marks on my etched bayos, but, again, none that look like this one.
I know that DD Harris is a Pack collector. Maybe, he or any other Pack guys can give us more info on this?
John
Guys heres a link to the d.d.h pack collection, he has a very nice example hj knife with this Pack trademark
http://www.ddsdaggers.com/Cheers Scott.
I am back from my holidays and it is a real pleasure to find more rare and beautiful no ricasso HJ's in this thread!
Here is an Arthur Schüttelhöfer, as you know this firm later became specialised in HJ knifes and produced most knifes of all makers during the later RZM period.
Best greetings,
Herman

sweezz, I think there was somebody quite fast as I could not look at this certain knife on d.d.h´s site even yesterday
.
Do you have saved pics and do you remember the price (possibly per pm)?
Regards,
Wotan,
You have to look in DDS's personal collection (knifes that are not for sale) to find a knife like yours.
On his home page click on "Pix of my HJ knife collection".
Your knife is a very nice and rare early Pack version.
Who else has an early non ricasso HJ knife to post?
Best greetings,
Herman
Spanner nuts on the Pack hilt is a nice variation too IMO
Hi! I have this E. Horster in not such good condition as yours but still a decent one; unfortunately the motto has been erased and has no washer, regards.

Herman and sweezz, thank you very much, I did misunderstand the link and could find now, with your help, the certain pictures. Very nice (especially PACK) collection.
I have thought that it would be a very early variant produced just for a short time but did not know for sure. Thank you too.
@ A J , yes, I like them too. PACK did also use them sometimes on their walk out dress bajonets.
Regards,
There are many more variations, who else has one to show?
