hello All

Has anybody got a HJ knife with a city etch? Plön is a city in Germany. Is it made in several pieces, or just this one?

Henrik

While it is a city, I would be more inclined to believe it was from a student at NPEA Plon in the first few years when the boys wore the HJ Knife rather than the NPEA Student Dagger.

Thank you Ron. That's interesting. Do you have one like it? Or with another NEPA "town"?

Henrik
Henrik,

That is a beautifull transitional Tiger HJ knife, congratulations!

It is the first that I see with this "Plön" inscription.

Ron's comment absolutely makes sense to me.

Best greetings,

Herman

Ron's explanation makes absolute sense. Beautiful piece.

This is the first one like this I have seen, but I can think of no other reason for the name of the town. It might be just a regular HJ from that town, but I would think if that was the case it would have had his unit as this town was rather large and would have had several HJ boys.
The school just makes more sense to me.
