Kurt
Hello - I can say I have never seen a WKC heer with a generic B crossguard unusual combination for me.

AGREE.. Generic A guard and pommel. Is the blade a tapered tang variety or shouldered thin tang? The scabbard does not appear to be a WKC product either unless it is early? Hard to tell in these pictures. Best, Kevin.

Have to agree...its an odd configuration for a WKC heer

Good afternoon Gentlemen

Thank you for your informations ...

I have not taken it apart , it is supposed to be untouched and i don't like dismantling items ... the patina matches on very part of the dagger ... it looks untouched ...

So according you you this isn't textbook ? a part dagger? from Day 1 ?

I'll do extra photos tonight with close ups ... hopefully that will help ..

It's a parts dagger for sure. The only part of this dagger that was made by WKC is the blade. Not only is the crossguard a generic B type. Also pommel and scabbard are not WKC products. Looking at the patina of the parts, these parts have probably been together for a long time.
