Hi ,
I need your opinion on this WKC 2nd type Luft dagger.
It has the classic oval WKC scabbard throat, single side screw, and other WKC features. But in the other hand it is not a typical WKC product.

What do you think?

Thank you in advance, best regards,
Janos

This is a mix bag of parts cobbled together. The single throat screw is indicative of WKC however them bands ain't WKC. Look more like Pack?
The Crossgaurd looks to be Klaas with Klaas type enhancing. The pommel maybe Weyersberg....
Tough sell to anyone but a beginner...

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this WKC.. I used to have a example early in my collecting days that was very similar! I was discontent for a while also because the other examples I saw didn't match but then it was all matching in patina like this and showed very early fittings and hand work not usually seen on WKCs.. Mine had a tapered tang! Only Luft I ever had that did.. I think this is an initial example, pre typical fittings production.. Check that tang for me Janos.. Kevin.

Well, not a tapered tang.. but I still think this could be an original early configuration.. Kevin.
