Hello guys,

look what i just found. A nice 2nd Luft dagger, but before i pay, i would like to have a second opinion on it.
I know the pictures arn't the best, but they will have to do for now. I have asked the seller for more and better, and they should be on the way.

Nice gilting on the pommel Swastika,And the Grip is beautiful. Great color

Also is the eagle also gilted? or is it the photography that makes it look that way? Just a thought

Looks like a decent dagger, my thought is the money is in the blade IMO, if it's full of crossgrain then it's worth more than $700.00 with the hanger and portepee. Judging by the pics though the blade looks stained and not much crossgrain, the scabbard some rust at the lower and given the pommel has all it's gilding and the grip looks nice i would pay no more than $680.00.Try and get it for $650.00 wait not so fast.

My take on far away pics is he's hidding something and it's the blade condition. Is the blade marked and what about the blade tip. many questions arise with these pics. Ask for clear close up pics of the blade and makers mark if any.

That grip furrel looks crooked to me although the dag looks as if its never been apart ,at least from the photos. Blade looks plated to me from pics. Get a bunch more detailed pictures, T

From the photos, the blade looks to be in bad shape. Remember, the blade is the biggest factor in the value of most daggers.

Frankly the blade s u c k s.

I wouldn't have this unless I had an extra nice blade hanging around

Is the top piece to the hanger missing? Were the snaps gilted?

OK, there is NO gilting, just seems like it on the pictures. Also no dent on the scabbard, the hanger is complete, but the portepee is a little worn. No maker on the blade!
Price was fair...
