See nothing wrong with this dagger. Have other C.J.KREBS in my files which do also have this generic crossguard.
Nice early slant grip!

Looks OK to me. It depends on what you are collecting. If maker marks & you don`t concern yourself with cross-guard type then it is a nice combo with a slant grip. The grip is a real nice colour & the hangers look very nice. It appears that the upper part of the blade has been cleaned to below the maker mark with the original finish being a bit tarnished on the lower portion. It might just be the photo but you might want to get better pictures of the full blade before you commit? Just a thought!

Dagger looks nice,I've seen early daggers with the type "B" fittings like Voos. Less seen maker, like to see a tapered tang on that blade since it has the slant grip! Does it have one? Kevin.

Just wanted to let you know that I passed on this one due to the blade issues. I would never have been happy with it.
