Dear fellow collectors, are you familiar with this AES trademark?
Personally I haven't seen an early AES Heer dagger before.
It seems like one of the initial production pieces.
Any opinions are welcome.

Janos another exotic beauty looks like the Faceless Anton wingen 1st Guard. This is the first early AES I have seen I would expect a tapered tang?

Tom,
I am with you, IMO it has the 1st Wingen guard.
It must to be a tapered tang, but unfortunately the pommel is frozen, I can not take it apart...

I would concur. Not something I have seen before & it is quite interesting what turns up
even after all this time! I wouldn`t advocate pulling it apart anyway, no need to see what
you know to be there smile Nice!

Guys, this looks even better in hand.

Can you see this mark on a Luft 2?

John
John Z this dagger predates the 1937 2nd luft by 2 years so it’s doubtful but never say never could be one waiting for you at the max!!
WHHOOOHOO, one rare slant here! Wingen guard as said...Deep larger font mark is very interesting!! Might never see another of these!! Congrats!! Kevin.
