Direct from vets family. Includes capture papers but unfortunatley not on the items I recieved. Article from local paper describing the 2nd luft. Check out the leather U.S. made leather case. Now there's a vet that look care of his war trophy's. - -

Good stuff Wagner. "aquired in the smoke of battle". A lot of history with that grouping. I need to start looking in the local papers more often.

Love the sword. How does the rest of the blade look?.

The blade has a couple if "finger" dark spots. But outside of that it is nice and bright.
