The dagger appears to be original.
Value can be a touchy subject & is always subjective. At any more than $400 US dollars I think you might struggle to get your money back. Not really in the condition that most collectors are looking for. By the time you add in postage etc????

He is selling it on behalf of his grandfather, who was ind the danish resistance "Holger danske" brigade. His grandfather took this dagger from a German officer as he surendered.
