This is listed on ebay comming out of ontario,canada . I know nothing about these and I have no books on hats, can anyone tell if it's any good from these pictures?

Condition looks to good to that old, so I am thinking it's just a repo but I would like to know for sure thanks.

Rex Reddick sold reproductions of this type for years, including the silver piping. I suspect that is what this is. The ad states it is brand new. That and the opening bid amount indicate it is likely a quality reproduction.

Hi that cap is not period correct for a myriad of reasons. Insignia would be a dead give away, which is one reason that none are on cap....walk away, especially if it is being offerred from my home province....cheers, Ryan
