Interesting and rarely seen..the buckram type is germanic, but i am unsure of the cover..is it moleskin?

I can't say that I know much about this style of tab, though I do believe that they are German made. The embroidery pattern resembles the weave pattern of the flatwire runic tabs.

As already stated an original indeed. Here is one on a model 43 tunic.
