Only in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought to have seen images like these. Your two collections are truly mind-boggling...world class, all the way. The complete RFSS in the trunk is unbelieveable and a joy to behold.

Many thanks to yourself and to Peter for allowing us to see these ultra rare pieces. Perhaps Peter could be convinced to feature his black M16 helmet on the helmet forum??

Oh yes, Happy Easter!

Cheers,

Might I say thank you to my British friends as well. One grows so tired of all the junk and trash. These scenes remind us why we became interested in the first place.

Hooper..youve got museum quality items there of the highest calibre..its great to see such historical items of importance being well taken care of and obviously cherished..lest they be relegated to the dust bin of todays throw away world!

That must be a museum, right Scott. It is sad the condition many item are in today because some well intending old lady donated it to her local museum. Collectors are a much better people to preserve history in mass. I don’t know how many veterans and their widows I have spoken with that donated their items to museum, never to be seen by humanity again.
And I also agree with everyone about pricing being about pure greed. Although I never vet acquired any SS tunic’s or overcoats, it is the same the hobby over an item is bought by at a super low price and then ridiculously priced because they now people want the items, and a fake shadow is cast over the items making some really believe that the items are extremely rare and with most items that just isn’t true. Watch Triumph of Will, at today’s prices there has got to be multi-billions of dollars in regalia pictured in that movie, its funny because most these items are not rare today and have never been rare like some would like us to believe. But when ever anyone speaks of prices we get into that supply and demand mubo jumbo. The only problem with that folks is the supply is flowing well and is far from dried up. nuff siad. Smile
