For you fans of Political items, here's a little grouping that I put together representing the 1929 RPT. Included is a cased NP badge and the 2 grades of pin backed badges. Along with these pieces is a rare period post card from the Rally. I hope you enjoy the photo!

Due to the photo being kinda small here are some close ups of the different pieces in the display.

I seen one of these for sale with a wide pin and marked 107! Did this type ever exist?

Not to my knowledge, all the 29 badges were standard with the early ones being MM and the later pin backs being RZM marked.

Here's an interesting LIFE photo of Hitler wearing his 29 badge. This is the 1st actual photo that I have seen of him wearing it.

Me too Doug, the early NSDAP is my collecting focus.

The early period is considered the "KampfZeit" period or "Time of Struggle" I myself am very intrigued by this period,, and what it represented. The early years will have the most value and imapct of the represented items. As time went by and the use of materials changed so did the desirabilty for "Some Collectors" IMO late SAs for instance, did not have the same appeal to me as the early ones. SS daggers or items in any period will always be desired! I love the early stuff too especially when Ernst Rohm was alive. There is nothing wrong with the Mid to late period stuff,,"To each his own" as they say. When collecting in a field of your desire.
Erich that is a great grouping of items you have. In the one photo of the Nurnberg medal,, is that a lock of blonde hair I see?? interesting! Best Larry
