Hi All,
War merit cross 1st class without swords, had it for years and bought it for a few pounds at boot sale never known what to make of it? it has no maker mark, the frosting has tarnished over the years and the swastika has always had a burnished/polished finish to it. My photos don't quite capture the depth of the stippling/dot pattern but hope they give a good idea of the look of this cross. Opinions welcome as I would like to know if it belongs with my repro collection or is it original?
Many thanks, Andy.

Going off the hardware alone have seen these referred to as unmarked Floch. (Post War).
Let's see what others feel.

Hi, Thanks so much for your very informative reply I have looked at several articles about the Floch repros and my KVK 1ST is most definitely a Floch post war cross the pin is a particularly typical so called type B unmarked Floch item as are the hinge and catch, you were spot on! so that puts this one to rest at last and thank goodness I paid very little for it and probably what I would expect to pay for a repro of this quality it will now go into my repro collection I actually collect repros so long as they're the right price and good copies.
Regards, Andy.
