I got this this with a small group of German metals a long while back and never gave it much thought till lately. It dose not look German as this one has name and what looks like a name of city in Poland, Poznan. This is stamped with the oblong top to bottom and not side to side you will see what I mean With the pic,

that's what it is! , a Polish dog tag. Used pre war and war time if I remember correctly.. A nice piece.. Wanna trade for German one

An old girlfriend years ago gave it to me with a few other things her adopted dad brought home from WW2. How he picked up a Polish dog tag will never know. He is no longer with us.
