This is one of the neatest and biggest tinnies I have ever had. Anybody else have examples of this to show?

Next to a quarter for size comparison!

Nice tinnie Bertastan. I see that yours is maker marked. Were all of these supposed to be marked?
SSman

I really do not know. Like any other tinnies some were and some were not marked. But they are cool looking
Stan
Stan. They are very cool looking. I found a couple of these on dealers sites and they were unmarked to.

Hello,
Here's mine. Hard to read the whole mm but I believe it's G Danner Murdhausen (?) Thur
I usually see that makers mark when I see these pieces. And it certainly is a neat looking one as previously said.

Here's the reverse
Actually wondering if the JW on the front of these tinnies is for the designer of it or what?
thanks

Nice tinnie Bill. I just looked at mine and it doesn't have the JW on the front! Mine must be a generic!!
SSman
Hello,
SSMan thanks for the comment. I wonder why some have the JW in front and others don't. I would have thought the designer of it would have wanted the initials on all of them if those letters are indeed the designers. I was just reading a thread on another forum about the 1933 SS Gautag that is considered a fantasy piece by many and they make comment on how they believe it might have been inspired by the one in this thread. These are indeed nice looking pieces. Any ideas what they sell for nowaday?
Thanks again,
Duzig(Bill)
I paid $50.00 for mine about 2 years ago. By the way here is a similar but smaller one for a 1938 Weimar celebration.
Stan
Another nice tinnie you have Stan. Bill i was told that these tinnies are bringing between 50 and 75 bucks.
SSman
Hello,
Yes, Stan that is indeed a nice looking tinnie. SSman, thanks for the valuation of the tinnie. I rarely sell anything but it's always nice to know rough values. Thanks again
