I have got a very nice photoalbum of a member of the Panzer Aufklärungs-Abteilung 7.

This unit belonged to the 7th Infantry Division ( a Munich division ) and took part in the
whole Russian campaign.

The album itself is made very simple. The photos are sticked into a school-book.
But the photos are extraordinary.

Lots of „action-photos“ made during and shortly after the battles:

Inside-photos from the Recce-Car are rare.

Awarding the Knight’s Cross to Oberleutnant Ißbrücker, Chief of the 3. / PzAufklAbt. 7

KC awarded by General Freiherr von Langermann und Erlencamp – Commander of the
4. Panzerdivision

More fighting photos:

Winter 1941 / 42

Grave of a soldier of the Division Grossdeutschland

Another Knight’s Cross winner of the PzAA 7, Oberleutnant Feßmann

( Feßmann also had the swords later )

On the last pages again photos from the award ceremony of Ißbrücker

That was all.
Not cheap, but still under my personal limit.

That was my christmas-gift for me.

Kind regards
Robert

Superb Robert! Outstanding images and many thanks for showing.

It is always great to see images not published in books, private images are always a treat.

A lot of publishers have exhausted their supply and always looking for new material. It doesn't really matter if they are battle front images of those of the average soldier, they are always great to see and make good reference material for uniforms etc.

Thanks again,

Davey
