I think this reference pic I took vanished during the reboot of the system. Here is a nice shot comparing the two maker marks.

See how much closer the maker mark is to the crossguard in the Full Rohm? That's the way they were.

Thanks KT. I'm saving that pic for my future reference as well. Excellent "validation' characteristic indicative to these blades. Great work.

I don't think the dimensions are revelant to this forum for any valid reason. Suffice to say that you are looking at the placement variances of this maker only.

Other makers have different markings and sizes altogether.

Nice comparative picture Mark.
That's one very rare Rohm trademark.
I also like that unique Gau mark being stamped on the far left of the crossguard, real neat ! Smile
Mark, nice comparison. Hope you don't mine me adding to it.The one's I have are ground, and not the best photos, but should help others out.

Very cool Raymond! Very cool indeed....thats a lot of investment right there..

Thanks Mark.I have an E.P.&S. and Wustof ground Röhm but not the standard SA by these makers.Maybe soon I'll find them and post them side-by-side.
Ray
As a side note I picked up a nice clean SA by F.Dick with the MM going the width of the blade.I wonder why they didn't use this style MM with the Röhm inscription?

I don't know why either Ray. I had not seen an F.Dick ground Rohm ever in my collecting experience. I know you worked hard to get those and I am most impressed with what you have there.

Are you going to the SOS?
