Im surprised there isnt a topic called like this yet? Well, if I may, Ill let my tired Eisernes Kreuz 1. Klasse feel proud once more, by opening it. Feel free to have lotsa crosses join it!

No makersmark, a tired hinge, traces of age all around, YES, this cross went around the block. The ageing also makes it VERY lovely, I like that kinda thing. Also, this cross, has a copper'ish yellow'ish glow over it? Is that brass?

Thanx for the compliment! Yes, its vaulted, not, like, really domed? But slightly vaulted. And, that hinge, is a little bit busted? But still works.

I'm with you on seeing beauty in aged, been there kind of stuff and think it's far more appealing than a new-like and mint example.JMO

930 silver stamp on the smaller one. The L/12 screwback is a 3rd. reich era piece.

The screwback, is awesome too, a genuine Juncker You MUST have a wicked cam Joe, LOOK at how SHARP these are ... wow!

Very nice cross too Joe. Is very interesting the format comparation between WWI and 3rd Reich era crosses.

There have to be more Imperial EKI's out there to see. Please share yours.

Here's my only example, the rear and pin are marked 800, a vaulted example in it's case. No makers number that I can see.
