Unknown brown leather german 7,65 mm pistol holster

Hi Gents,
I am looking for any informations about this WWI German brown leather holster for a 7,65 mm caliber pistol.
I just add it to my collection. I bought it from a fellow collector. The holster come with a Prussian combat belt with a M1915 1916 dated belt buckle.

I'd say it looks like one from a P-08, it also looks like it may have been black at one time?

I may be wrong but I think that's what it is.
