First one is a holster for a Swedish lahti pistol. Credit on that info goes to Andy because I know I have a similar one does it have any tools? Or a 3 crown Mark on the flap?

hi chief
just sitting here and looking over your holsters again and the one with the english broad arrow on back side is of the holster in my opinion is a english webley flare pistol or possibly just a webley ww2 lend lease pistol beings its u.s. marked with brord arrow i feel now that i am on the right track best andy militarynut

Thanks so much guys, that answers a few of my questions.

Byzanti, I cannot find a crown or any markings on the flap of the pebble grained one. There are no magazines or tools, but a few cleaning patches and a piece of paper with a name in the very bottom.

Andy, there is a magazine in the compartment for the East German one, but I do not have the pistol. I think I know what you mean about the ammo, as in Europe that make a different 9mm now that is not "military grade". Ithink it;s 9mm X 18 instead of 9mm X 19?

Byzanti,

Is that Swedish Lahti holster of WWII vintage, and any idea of value?

Thanks,
Chief
It could be chief- without any markings, I'm not sure -but I know it was around for some years before during and after ww2- for many years I think to the 1980s! mine was brown but not pebbled, had a lot more brass snaps and clasps- including the belt loop rivets, rather than stitched- like yours, and a good amount of verdigris built up on the brass- not so much on yours. The name might be helpful, I think the Finns had Swedish lahti back then as well....Brown were military issue, crowns were government stamps, mine was an army piece-looks like yours is too-- some stamps had an HV as well, some had unit numbers! I do believe the Danish also had brown lahti holsters at some point. Honestly tough to tell from the pics, but it's certainly a holster for an m40 and could be ww2 period, definitely not a later model. Hope that helps,
Mike/Byz
Oh sorry value- it varies quite a bit it seems not an uncommon holster tough to tell, I wouldn't spend very much on one myself to be honest- its not super rare or anything.
