I've had this for many years and came from a good source [I know means nothing!] .. I've had some say it is a complete fantasy,,some say no a good pattern..
Since those years ago I've seen a period photo in wear. So,,the pattern is good.

But is this one authentic.

It is cotton,, no synthetics anywhere, no glow on the white..

2 kinds of thread,,white around the edge.. Blue to join it together and a zig zag on the separately applied emblem..

Found it in my back yard doing some summer cleaning.
Washed it up good but the rust stayed courtesy of SuperStorm Sandy!

Emblem is printed, cut, and zig zaged on.. So what yea thee think? , good? , bad? , ?

This one would have a pretty good chance of being original if I saw it. I'll look for a source on the construction of these to see if it is made following the standards. A shame dumb Sandy got it!! I was wondering what armband this kid was wearing. I found out now! In the photo the red and blue look the same....
