I have PPK circa 1940. It is police marked Eagle C. It is proofed with both Crown N and Eagle N. THe slide is Crown N and the chamber and barrel are Eagle N. The ejection port area inside the slide shows some scratches but no visible number. Serial #3062XXk. SInce this is the year that changed proofs from Crown N to Eagle N, is it possible it left the factory as it is? Condition is 95% with original box numbered to the pistol with extra mag and acc. Thanks.

hello Colt,
the eagle stamp with letter C on the left side is for police acceptance. Please, see page 38 on "German pistols and holsters 1934/1945 military - police- NSDAP" book by Major Robert D. Whittington III.
Very nice pistol with its original box and acessories.
Regards.
Frank
