I just purchased this pistol at an auction. On the Side Plate, it's marked "A. Henry - PA." It's also marked "A. Henry" on top of the barrel. Can anybody give me any information on this pistol. I did find that A. HENRY is listed as a famous Scottish Gunsmith and had to do with the rifling in the Henry Rifle barrel. Thanks, CHUCK

It appears to be a pistol built by Abraham Henry, a member of the Henry family of gunsmiths from PA. Looks to be converted from flintlock. Abraham died in 1811, so I would have it appraised Wink

I think the markings look highly questionable.
