Anyone out in the audience have an idea of what type of helmet this is and also a value??

It's a British 44 pattern "Turtle shell" helmet. Should be a date on the black bands that hold the liner in. I think these may have been worn at Normandy.
Not sure of value though, $75-100 guesstimate?
