The AuLion was the only maker of these knives to actually see combat in WWI.
Many of these "Knuckle duster" knives were also re-issued in WW2. A favorite of the paratroops, you will frequently see one or both of the hand guard sides to be ground down to allow a closer fit to the body.

was the only ones to see combat....Why is it that
the LF&C knifes did not?.......
