hi all...i have a usmc mameluke style sword,double engraved,plain name panel,distributor marked,"hilborn & hamburger,ny, usa,stainless steel,blade marked "germany",and on top of spine of s sword is "usmc serial #323,,,anyone out there can the era be determined by sn or by distributor name,,,any help at all is appreciated,,,thank you,,robert

Great looking sword.
I would think based on the H&H mark and the "Germany" marking it would have been 1950's era.

I agree with Mr Jerry on this sword. WKC is the current maker for USMC swords.
