Collectors
I believe we showed and talked about many daggers!
Looks like SA daggers are still very popular!
The yr is winding down and I wondered if you found something in 2021 that you were glad to get!
Or something you wished you did!
Another covid yr and a few show shows for folks allowed to travel!
Maybe you went to a show!
I didn't make any!
Maybe a trade you made! Bought from a dealer or friend!
Friends always seem to be easier to deal with!
Show or tell us what you did!
Maybe a hint at what you might do in the new yr!
Hope you all have a great new year and thanks to all that take time to share and post on German Daggers!
Wish all of you a better yr to find goodies!
If 2022 is as good at showing our treasures we collect, things will be good!

What did you add, Paul ? !
Show us your stuff !
Dave !
I don't often add SA/NSKK daggers to my collection but this is one that had eluded me until this summer. I was happy to add it.
Thank you John. This was an item I thought I’d never find in terms of condition and price that would suit me so it just worked out. This one also has a little pedigree so I felt pretty good about it overall. I guess never say never.

That is a looker! Has a gold tint? And the finish on scabbard is nice! Really nice!
You did real well!
Dave
Was not my yr I quess on SA daggers! Not getting to shows didn't help!
What I saw from pawn shops etc were just nothing special to say the least!
Grandkids have lots of wants and I bought a new car car!
Maybe this yr better things will come my way!
My military show buddy passed after 50 yrs of going and it took some steam out!
Health issues slowed me down also!

Hey Paul,
Very sorry to hear of your show buddy’s passing, it makes perfect sense that you wouldn’t have the drive to hit shows after that. This year was feast or famine for me and it’s been that way for the last few years.
This Marine NSKK had the right look to me, came from a reputable source and the price was something I could live with. These were things I never thought I’d get all in the same item but I got lucky. Very happy with it.
Fine looking stuff!
Lots of SA daggers! Luft swords.Rlb stuff!
Looks like you have good taste!
What are some of the maker?
Thanks for sharing!
