I picked this piece up at a local coin show this past weekend. I really love the dark etch.

I always set a couple out to let people know I buy them... or at least know about them. This and another came to me because someone saw mine and went home to get theirs.

David Malsch is a rare maker. Mine also has a dark etch. However, your grip looks almost like an Aesculap lacquered grip. Mine does not.

Nice find Matt in great condition still retaining some of the laquer on the grip. Gruppe Mark "Franken" are not as common as they used to be. Very Nice.
