Just picked up this NSKK and thought I would show some pictures. It appears to have the original period black paint and also has traces of original black paint on the handle. I've been told some of the NSKK members also painted the handles black along with their scabbards. The ends of the handle are black where the crossguard covers them up. It is in overall decent shape, nice dark motto and makers mark. The upper crossguard has a "H" on the inside and the lower has an "E & C.B. It only has one of the original scabbard screws, so I'll try to find a scrap SA with some good screws. Enjoy the pictures.
