It looks relatively good.

I would have to say I'm liking the looks of this dagger. The blade to crossgaurd to grip fit is very nice, you can tell the maker took time to make sure every thing fitted just right.(nice to see) Can still see some crossgraining, to bad someone polished the blade so much.(still wouldn't toss it out of my drawer.lol)Scabbard looks like it is in really good shape, to bad the ring is missing(minor thing)? the screws don't look the same color as the fittings, put a maggnet to them see if it sticks.
As for a price, it what ever the market will bare. And we all know how that is going.

very tight piece!

Hard to say much about the blade with these pics, but I don't think it has been polished. Polishing destroys the texture and edges of the motto and I don't see any of that.

Hard to judge by the photos and angle,, but the 2nd and 3rd photo looks like the crossguards are on the thicker side than the flat thinner sized Haco crossguards. The 5th photo because of the angle looks a little thinner. If Im wrong please correct me. Larry

Can you tell me how you got the photos to enlarge. When I use a resizer and get the size of my photos down to what the server will accept they are very small in size. It makes it difficult to see a lot of detail at the small size photos.
Thanks.

Hey ETF I myself use the Macro mode on my camera and use an image size of 1536 x 2000 something,,that usually works fo me then i take it to a photo shop type website and reduce the percentage until it fits with the GDC guidelines of 123 kb. The Macro mode and cropping also brings the image in closer. Try it! Larry
Here is my link and check out the 6th and 9th photo for closeness

To many collectors this maker (HACO) is one of the favourite ones. Condition is decent (just the scabbard ring is missing). I'd say it wouldn't be a problem to get some $600 for this dagger.

Glad to help Ed, Although the photo guidelines are 123kb, you might want to undercut it by 2kb or less is ok. I have noticed sometimes that if I have a pic and it finishes at 123kb, sometimes depending upon the dimension size which is not noticeable to our eyes but to the Computer,,it will not post at that size. Sometimes it does and other times it doesnt. Past experience, I just lower it a couple of KBs and it fits fine. Works for me and does not take away from the quality of your photo.
Also it would be important to get yourself a little table top tripod, which you can pick up at walmart for $12. Use your timer on your camera, so this way there is no question about movement or blurred pictures. Looking forward to seeing your photos soon. Regards Larry
