Gentlemen,
Here's one beauty that I picked up at the Max and though I wasn't looking for any SA's, I just couldn't resist.
It has everything going for it, stunning grip, beautiful scabbard, a rare SA vertical hanger, seldom seen Eickhorn large oval serrated tail trademark and lastly, a mint blade.
Greetings
You can say that again. Great catch Pat and congrats!
Congrats Pat on super clean dagger.Very nice again.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
GREAT Pat!
Pat,
Simply a knockout !!!

Just your usual standard Pat well done on securing a superb SA
Nice blade, beautiful grip colour and a rare vertical hanger. Realy a fantastic Eickhorn.
Thank you gentlemen for your appreciation, you all have very good taste in daggers.
Pat
That's one awesome piece. Snooze you loose, Noticed that at the Max.
Its was also nice to meet you.
Mario
A real stunner! If you could only own one SA this one would be a prime candidate.
At the show I noticed one dealer that had several incredible SA's. I believe he was located in the back section in the room where Tom Wittmann sets up or possibly in the other small room. I have a feeling that may have been the dealer that this may have come from. Certainly of the same caliber. A really great dagger. Mike
Mike:
Pat actually picked up two incredbily conditoned SAs, this being one of them.
I think that he got both from Bill (aka Jason) Givens.
Pat is this correct?
J
....Pat, Indeed this one has it all going for it. Glad you got it.
But If I wasn't a 'Table Slave' this year...
Everyone I talked scored some kind of nice surprise at the MAX.
-Congrats ! Great SA Rig - even had the vertical hanger. -Nice-
-serge-
HOLY SMOKES, congrats to a real beauty mate !
Cheers, Hakan
Thank you guys !
John is right, I bought this beauty, along with another one which is just as nice, from Bill Givens, a top class gentleman.
I had a short shopping list going to the Max and I couldn't find what I wanted, not so much because prices were too high or that they were unavailable, simply because most of the stuff found on the tables were average in condition.
I must have seen at least 60 SS EM's and guess what, none of those were in a condition that you and I would collect, near mint that is.
I actually bought one of the nicest SS EM at the show and resold it to a good freind of mine at the Max.
Cheers
oh my God bro, what a killer, congrat!!!
My Gosh Pat!!,,You were lucky enough to see it before anyone else grabbed it up. You have a very nice prime example SA. Sometimes the worse thing to do at a show is to glance at something and keep going. Your attention to it when you stopped paid off!
It had to been the grip that caught your attention to see the rest of what is inside. Like going on a first date!!
very nice pick up. Best Larry
That is how we would like to find all of our SA's.
Great catch, Pat!
Herman
My God that beauty ... My congratulations on your discovery!
Always a pleasure to buy your cast-offs my friend!!
