Well the Final McSARR is finished, but some questions remain. In the past I had accepted some suggestions from others as to the validity of some questionable makers. However significant time has passed and we have not been able to verify some. Indeed is has now been 7 years since a previously unrecognized maker has emerged. So for the Final McSARR I have only included makers that have been personally verified by Dave Hohaus or myself. I am asking the collecting body if anyone can verify the following makers as having definitely produced Early SA daggers(no RZMs). If you own or have good photos of any of the following makers, please post them or mail them too me at nmcalvanah@centurytel.net Anyone who can provide one will get a free Final McSARR.
Most likely to exist
J SCHMIDT & SOHNE(bull head with knives beneath)

Mike,
Correct spelling is ADLERBLICK ("eagle view"; eagle in German is ADLER)

Nats,

there are three Klass marks known:

1. The SS Rohm mark which is small and close to the crossguard. I cannot find an image right now, but is is smaller than the one you show.

2. The regular SS Klass mark. It is larger than the one you show. See below

3. The SA transitional trademark. Same size and placement as the one you show. I have seen two blades that looked as they had been reworked to remove the letters & numbers but leave the trademark.

If you are going to the SOS and have news on any of the makers that Mike has posted, please find him and let him know.
