A top shelf example of the Cadillac of SS daggers!

Really nice Boker, but I don't think the hanger is original to the piece. The reverse grip would suggest that this dagger came with a short hanger, assuming that it was worn.

Well, the ware on the scabbard where the strap is of the hanger indicates that the hanger was always there imo.

Hmm, the wear on the anodizing seems to indicate it did have a vertical hanger, but I agree there are usually a few indentations on the back of the grip when present.

Yes indeed. That in case when the dagger was worn often.
Possible that the dagger just wasn't used a lot by its owner...

You guys really gonna say now that the grip is replaced or that this dagger doesn't belong to this scabbard or you just want to burn another good item here? "

I think it's a great dagger, nice condition, all original. No problems from my standpoint!

Hi I agree with John the scabbard indicates a vertical hanger, cross guard to handle fit is perfect as one expects from Boker. explanation??, maybe dagger not worn much or who knows fine beyond a doubt so who really cares lol cheers, Ryan
