Hello Drimmer....everything is blue. The scabbard fittings through the blue appear to be the later plated type...not sure what to make of the scabbard..a more natural light would be best when photographing. Regards Larry
Blue ones seem to be much more rare than black ones.
Drimmer17,
The inner markings of the crossguards are the same on my early Klaas (except my roman numeral is III).
Can't tell much else because everything's blue.
Can't see if the scabbard's anodized or painted, etc.
Can you get better photos?
The "St" caster marks are known on Klaas blades.
What about the tang mark?,if so,does it shows the two storks or the double arrow?
Regards,
Gerd
The scabbard is not correct for an early SS dagger. The scabbard is either SS or NSKK made later under RZM regulations.
Thank you all !
I wonder better pictures
