Some time passed and finally I have my new addition. Larry probably will not belive how it was possible to repair handle. At this moment I would like to thank Him for a great deal. In my opinion this dagger is now pretty good and without any huge problems...

Have a look ...

Looks Nice! Throw in some before pics. So we can see the difference.

OK, so "in words", where was the damage located?
I know of six SS daggers with member numbers in the "269 000" range and I have not been able to identify any of them yet. Another case of the frustrations of number research.

My first SS Dagger by Pack, which is still in my collection, is serial numbered 269346 on the top guard.

In words - the main problem was a partial damage of the wood near the upper crossguard. It was fixed with original part of another damaged SS dagger handle. I would say it is a masterpiece and If I would not know it was repaired I would never find it out....

Great job, ... just need to have spare SS handle, and the right guy to fix the job ... Now I'm thinking about all the SS daggers with broken handles I passed by frown

Nice Job,Gottlieb!

The number was researched with no results at this time.
