I agree, clean off the oxidization. The rest of the dagger looks too good to leave it there.

The green gunk is from not looking at the dagger to often.Keep them in an art draw and need to turn them over every so often.This dagger was bought in the mid '80 for $800 a far cry of what there going for now. Cool
