Here's a very large, 43cm, AH plaque done by Arno Breker for the opening of the Reichs Cancellery in 1939. The plaque weighs about 30lbs and is made of iron. This is the first one that I have seen to date but Hermann Historica had a simmilar plaque a few years ago that sold at auction.

Yes Bill it's mine, now I'm trying to figure out how to hang it due to it being so heavy! Wink

The one on his site is the much smaller AH Birthday plaque, which is much more common than the large RC plaque.

Thanks but it's cooler IMO than a common Rail Eagle!

Erich,

Perhaps one of the heavier stands meant to support a plate? Possibly a custom support made of nice wood? I'm sure you'll figure it out ...

That rare unit will surely complement your fine collection however you decide to display it.

Top-shelf! Wink

Best!

I just added this much smaller Breker plaque to go with my large one. This one was commissioned for Hitler's 50th Birthday.

And yes, I picked it up from CG.

Erich,

Now that's a dynamic duo, truly an outstanding pair. The demand for Breker's work is going through the roof lately and it's easy to see why ... great stuff. Smile

Best!

Thanks again Bill, yes, Breker pieces are very hard to find and are commanding high prices. Hermann Historica just sold a piece very much like my large plaque for 4000 Euros.
