Another strange item. Just curious on what it might be. I was told its some type of Plaque from Austria. I have no clue? any info would help out.

Thats right, Austro/Hungarian Empire crest with the Italian dragon getting ready to attack - this signifys the prelude to WWI -Prior to WWI Austria owned whats called Sud Tirol which lies on the northern edge of Italy and the southern fringes of Austria, after WWI it went back to Italy. Hope this helps.
